How Can I Assign an Editor in WordPress
Hey there, Vaughn Bullard here again! Sometimes you need to give users on your WordPress We’re going to talk about how to assign an editor in WordPress.
We’re gonna go to the WordPress administration pages. This is done by typing in the url of your blog followed by forward slash wp-admin. You will be prompted for your administrative username and password. Type that in and press the “Login” button.
So we’re gonna go all the way to the down to the bottom of our administrative menu. We’re gonna hover over this “Users” menu and up will pop the hover menu and we’re gonna choose “All Users”. This will bring up the “Users” administrative page.
Now you’re going to select the user that you want to change by clicking the checkbox. Then you’re going to select this drop down box called “Change role to” and you’re going to select ‘Editor’ and then click the ‘Change’ button. And that’s all there is to it. Now you’re user will be able to edit posts on your WordPress site.
