ASHBURN, VA (October 22, 2013) – Demand Media has chosen two members of Build.Automate’s senior management team as subject-matter experts for several series of professional online, instructional videos.
“As a Casting Producer for eHow, Chron.com and Livestrong.com, my role is to find professional experts in categories across the board to make the how-to videos you see online. After reviewing their business profiles, it was clear Deanna Murray and Vaughn Bullard had the qualifications to star in their own series,’ said Mercedes Collazo, Casting Producer with Demand Media, based in Los Angeles.
In July, Demand Media put out a casting call to professionals nationwide, seeking high-energy, knowledgeable specialists in top areas of business – including IT and marketing. In August, a casting director contacted Build.Automate and asked for audition tapes from the company’s CEO/Founder Vaughn Bullard and the Director of Strategic Marketing, Deanna Murray.
Within a few days, both were chosen to represent their specialties in instructional, HD videos professionally produced and released through Demand Media.
Build.Automate is dedicated to educating small business owners and entrepreneurs on innovative technologies and marketing strategies. The choice to offer up expertise and participate in these videos was a logical step in the company’s goal to help strengthen business growth and knowledge.

In his first series of 10 videos, Mr. Bullard explains some basic WordPress actions. This series is Demand’s first venture into the world of WordPress, and as the studio only allows one expert per subject, Mr. Bullard, who has developed plugins and developed extensively within the platform, will be called on again to outline WordPress features.
Ms. Murray, who is an award-winning writer and respected marketing expert, worked with the content team at demand to create content for instructional information on logos, colors and brand management.

Production for Mr. Bullard’s and Ms. Murray’s second series is already underway and topics for their third series are already being selected.
